Along my own journey to achieve metabolic health I saw a real need for proper low carb and ketogenic coaching that goes way beyond passing out a meal plan and a long to do list. For most people, that go-it-alone, information overload isn't really a sustainable solution - they need targeted tools and support.

PKD & CKD

My health issues include Hashimoto's thyroiditis, insulin resistance, and bipolar disorder. Thanks to Erin's comprehensive knowledge and compassionate coaching using low carb ketogenic nutrition, my weight, sleep, and mental clarity have improved. My anxiety has significantly decreased and my depression has all but disappeared. I have also been able to stop taking some of the medication I used to require. I can't imagine that I would have succeeded at making the changes I needed to without having Erin to help pull me through.
I've never been what I thought of as unhealthy, but I was interested in losing a little excess weight around the middle and becoming a bit sharper mentally. Working closely with Erin to change some habits and to know what to eat and how to prepare it resulted in an easy weight loss of 20 kilos. This is weight I hadn't been able to drop just with my regular exercise routine. While losing the weight I've also had no problem building muscle mass and now I look like I did back in my university days when I was working out at the gym. I enjoy the compliments I get from coworkers and friends.
One unexpected benefit of my change in nutrition has been the disappearance of my hypoglycemia. Now I don't have to worry about skipping a meal or waiting longer in between meals to eat because my insulin levels are low and stable and my body is burning fat as its main energy source.
Working with Erin with the support of my doctor I have been able to go off strong medication using the ketogenic diet. I no longer struggle with anxiety and depression. My PCOS symptoms have also been reversed. I used to gain weight easily and it was very hard to lose it, and now it's easy to lose weight. My skin is clear and my hair loss is reversed. My menstrual cycles are no longer irregular or painful, and I am now ovulating as I should be. I have more mental and physical energy. I stay full after eating and no longer struggle with low blood sugar or blurred vision.
Thanks to Erin's help, I was able to learn which foods work for my body and which don't without feeling restricted. I learned about self care and to be kind to myself. Erin has been with me all the way.
Getting older, without excess weight, I was experiencing a constant heavy stomach, bloating and low energy, along with increasing food allergies/intolerances. I switched to a low carb diet (including gluten and lactose free) and very quickly saw several benefits: no more heavy stomach, much less inflammation, a near disappearance of my menstrual and pre-menopausal symptoms. I am also able to go much longer without eating (no more hypoglycemia, no more feeling hungry). What I like most about Erin is that she starts from where we are and is genuinely trying to find the best solution for us personally.
I struggled with acne that just wouldn't go away, even with the help of my dermatologist. Erin took me off dairy, which helped a little bit, but it was only when she helped me transition to a whole food ketogenic diet that my acne completely went away. Because I'd rather not stay keto forever, afterward Erin helped me increase my carbohydrate intake to a level that still keeps my acne mostly gone (I still get a pimple or two if I go crazy on high carb food). Now I continue to do well on a lower carb modified paleo diet that Erin designed for me. Without her help I wouldn't have had the patience to stick with learning and implementing a whole food low carb lifestyle.
